Behind the Lens: Meet Partner/Director of Photography Matt Cipollone

Matt Cipollone blends a background of photography, art, producing, editing and community-based nonprofit work into his role of Director of Photography at Lens End Media. In addition to collaborating on numerous documentary features and TV series, he specializes in helping socially-minded foundations and organizations tell their stories and showcase their important work through film and media. Film projects Matt has been a part of have spanned a diverse range of topics such as civil rights, gun violence, youth development, racism, pollution, capital punishment, public health, special needs accessibility, and international relations. He also creates branded content for businesses, artists and musicians. 

Prior to joining Lens End Media, Matt created and ran a photography program at a nonprofit for at-risk youth in his home city of Baltimore, and conducted workshops for teenagers in foster care through grant work designed to give youth a stronger voice in their levels of care. Matt’s cinematography work has taken him throughout the world, and productions he has worked on have aired on networks such as National Geographic, Al Jazeera, PBS, HLN & CGTN.
